We take privacy seriously and collect as little as we can. This statement explains what information we process when you visit the website or get in touch, why we do it, and what rights you have.

Controller

Adventis AS (organisation number 915 433 138) is the controller for the personal data described here. If you have questions about privacy, write to contact@adventis.no.

What we process

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your company name if you provide it, and the message you write. The same applies when you email or call us.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and time of visit in server logs. This is necessary to deliver the website and protect it against abuse.

We use no cookies, no analytics tools and no tracking. Fonts and other resources are loaded from our own website, not from third parties.

We use the information from the contact form and email to respond to your enquiry and follow up any conversation about working together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and – where the enquiry concerns a possible engagement – taking steps before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (b)).

Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Who has access

We do not sell personal data or share it with others for their own purposes. The website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives contact form submissions on our behalf as a data processor. Netlify is based in the USA, and transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU standard contractual clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to follow them up, and delete them no later than twelve months after the last contact – unless the enquiry leads to a customer relationship, or we are required by law to keep them longer.

Your rights

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Send us an email and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we are processing personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
